Snow Snow Snow!!!

We have so much snow. I don't ever remember having this much snow before. It seems like every other day we're out shoveling the driveway. My arms are tired. The piles from shoveling are over Jake's head. The horse next door could now walk over the fence into our yard if he so desired. The picture with the strange pattern in the snow is where our patio table used to be. And after all of that, is the snow over? No!!!! We have another storm coming in two days. I know we need water, but enough already. Bring on the summer!!

Brown Hair & Cute Kids

So, I dyed my hair dark brown. I decided I was ready for a change. When it was first done it was really dark. I got scared every time I looked in the mirror. Now it's lightened up a lot. I think I liked it better darker. Oh well. I guess you can't force a blonde to be dark, or something like that. My next step will be chopping my hair off. That will come in a couple of months.

I also just had to put this cute picture of my kids in. They're the greatest. Everyone says Zack looks exactly like Jake and Kate's a mini me. They're pretty entertaining either way.

My Husband's Crazy!

My husband is definitely crazy. On Saturday night he informed me that he was going to sleep outside in a tent. Not so crazy in the summer, but when there's a few feet of snow that's another story. Maybe I should start worrying that he would rather sleep in the freezing cold than with his beautiful wife:) He said he wanted to test out his sleeping bag and see if it would really keep him warm as advertised. I proceeded to watch him set up his tent in the snow. Then he came inside, said goodnight, and walked out the back door. Whatever. I have to admit that I didn't think he'd last the night. But he proved me wrong. He endured until 6:00am. Crazy boy.

Beautiful Midway

So, I love living here in Midway. I wasn't too sure about it when we moved here, but now I never want to leave. It's sooo beautiful and so quiet. There's no traffic and everyone is so friendly. Every time we go into the valley I get super stressed with all of the traffic. And let's not forget that we don't get that nasty inversion here. That's right. When the Wasatch Front is experiencing yucky, dirty air we have beautiful, warm sunshine. You should all be jealous. This is an open invitation to all of you to come visit whenever you get the urge.

I have to admit that really I mostly did this post to see if I could upload another picture. We got a new camera and I'm not sure I can upload those pictures. Here I go again... Success! Yes! I'm amazing!

Our Family

Yes! I got a picture on here. This is our family. Jake (my hot husband), me (Laura), Zack (handsome 3 year old), and Kate (cute 18 month old). It's very appropriate that this is a winter picture because it's mostly winter where we live. If anyone wants to invite us to a nice warm place we'd be happy to come!

Blogging Here I Come!

So, I love reading everyone else's blogs and have debated starting one of my own. My biggest hesitation is what in the world happens to us that anyone would want to read about. I guess I'll give it a try though. Read at your own risk. Tips and feedback would be most welcome as I'm feeling quite computer illiterate at the moment. Here goes nothing! Maybe I'll try a picture just to see how it works....Well, it didn't work. I got an error message. I knew this was a big mistake...
